I was delighted to recently have the opportunity to speak with Darwin Grosse, of cycling74 fame, on his really excellent Art, Music and Technology podcasts which in this edition hits episode 252, an extraordinary testament to his desire to engage in discussion about artists practices and thinking in the digital age.

We had a very wide ranging discussion touching on everything from code to spirituality in which Darwin asked remarkably prescient questions that got me talking about the philosophy of my practice more than usual.

On November 13 I will give a composers talk at the Zurich University of the Arts. The talk will cover some of my research and composition work I have been doing at IRCAM this year and some of my acoustic ecology work and will conclude with a concert of my new work Future Perfect for high order ambisonics, the audiences cell phones and video.
