AcousModules : Introduction
The AcousModules consitute a series of multichannel audio plugins, which must be used in a true multichannel environment creation, i.e. to work with a listening setup comprising several speakers, typically 5, 8, 12, 18 or more…
They are based only on true discreet channels and ARE NOT CONVENIENT for virtual "3D" with only two speakers (HRTF), and don't use the ambisonic coding nor other channel simulation techniques.
Some plugins CAN function in stereophony with only two speakers, but for the majority of them that does not represent quite simply any interest...
The plugins are available in the VST /VSTi format for Windows (all versions, can work under Linux, see below), and a few ones are available in the Audio Units and VST formats for Mac OS X.

Tonehammer make an interesting and very different collection of sample libraries
Waterphone | Tonehammer
Welcome to the Tonehammer Waterphone.
We decided to sample this instrument deeper and more creatively then ever done before in the history of sampling. The biggest current Waterphone libraries contains approximately 180-200 samples, which is less then 1/15 of the new Tonehammer library, Ours contains 2,903 samples and 59 different articulations, divided into two main categories: Bowed & Mallets.
The articulations include a variety of bows, a huge set of different mallets, metal devices, hands and other contraptions. The library also contains a variety of more experimental patches, including boiled water at four different temperature levels, hydrophone recordings (underwater microphones in the waterphone), magnets on waterphone tines and filling waterphone with metal screws and other goodies. This sample library pretty much covers just about every thinkable and unthinkable way you’d want to use/abuse a waterphone. We can proudly state we sampled the living soul out of the waterphone. All playable mallet programs contain between 5-10 velocity layers - and 6-10 round robin variations for maximum playability. In addition Waterphone contains a bonus set of waterphone ambiences, including a large collection of unique patches (Kontakt 3 only) made by Steven Tavaglione (Instrumentalist and Sound Designer; Wall-E, American Beauty, CSI, Supernatural and 100s other movies/shows/games).

Create Digital Music » Delia Derbyshire, in Radio Interviews and on T-Shirts
Delia Derbyshire, UK electronic composer extraordinaire and BBC Radiophonic Veteran, inspires depths of love and respect from us electronic muzos male and female that defy description. As Tara Busch from AnalogSuicide puts it, people aren’t just fans: they’re Delians. I think if you could see the image inside the heads of Delia fans at the mere mention of her name or the sound of a single sound effect, it’d probably look something like this slow-motion clip Tara posted to AnalogSuicide last fall:
