VGA over Cat-5 cable will let you run standard, cheap, easy-to-pull ethernet cable between your computer and video display. The twisted pair helps reduce signal loss, though it doesn't work quite as well as the long-run shielded VGA cables. Unless you need to extend your display to over 50 feet, this might be a much easier and more cost-effective way to do things.
You can also get DE9-RJ45 connector plugs

Probably the most eagerly awaited release of any musical interface in a decade or more, the Tenori-On is presented in a Sonic State video, presented by Yamaha's Yu Nishibori.
Seems like an extraordinary year for innovation in musical interfaces with the Nintendo Wii controller being adapted by a number of people for music performance and now the Tenori-on.
More info can be found on the Yamaha Tenori-on site

This video on YouTube - structuralvid - is an interesting Av extension of Alvin Lucier's I am sitting in a room - Album notes are available HERE . The effect of projecting sound and in this case image back into the room in an iterative way causes a degradation of the intelligibility of the original signal into a timbrel cloud, where the frequencies of the room are strengthened in each iteration until those frequencies are the only remaining content.
